Tiny, but impressive

This museum - at the outskirts of city centre - houses one of the largest paintings in the worlds, which also is one of the very few remaining panoramas in the World: the large 360 degree view of Scheveningen, the North Sea, and the Hague by Mesdag. Obviously: this paining is the highlight of the museum: beautifully positioned in a dome, with natural light and even (indoor!) sand dunes create the illusion that you are looking into the past (turn of the century 1900-ish). You will find yourself stare and marvel at the painitng for at least 30 minuttes, easily, and even more since there are so many details. Sadly, the museum offers little else: there is always a small exposition, and a few other painitngs of Mesdag. Still: very impressive and certainly worth your while.
