Real G-R-E-E-K food, prepared with love and care by the most friendly people you’d expect to meet!

Homely, quiet, fast service, great and not "fast" food! Need I say more? The place really resembles a Greece-based traditional tavern and the tastes and flavors also add up to that direction. Just GREAT!!!

Traditional Greek taverna fare in the heart of Amsterdam.

Souvlaki, Moussaka, Pastitso, Greek Salad, all served as traditional Greek Taverna fare. reasonably priced for this pricey city...a great offering of appetizers and salads as well...OPA! Well done! Efharisto for the great meal!

Great Greek food there

Delicious food! I love the dips , eggplants and stewed lamp! Perfect! I went there four times! Service there is lovely! I ordered mint ice tea by mistake twice and they are happy to change it for me! Thanks!

Great Greek food in Amsterdam.

Wonderful warmth. The waiter drank Ouzo with us. Delicious Greek food off Rembrandt square. The best.

True family greek restaurant with a very good kitchen

We spent in Santorini a lovely evening in early september this year. The weather was bad raining cats and dogs and it was Monday and traditionally in a central part of the overloaded Amsterdam food & beverage options are quite limited - you can find mostly pubs for big groups of tourists or very small indie eateries for 3-4 tables :). The interior of Santorini has it’s all naive but charming beauty of greek place: electric blue colour, fake flowers and oranges, giant wallpapers featuring classic images of Santorini, arches and wine’s baskets, white and blue tiles - you name the rest. We ate some greek kitchen specialities (all menu options were available and affordable). I can specially note that musaka and greek salad were the best and the portions were huge like everywhere in Greece. I can call the way they serve clients friendly and nice, but I’m usually behave myself friendly and rarely have bad experiences. Our waiter was fluent in english, he also recommended us the home-made wine for the dinner and the wine was surprisingly rich and flamboyant. The owner and his wife later came to greet guests in a dining hall and asked feedbacks on food. The also mentioned that the chief cook who run the kitchen at Santorini has more than 30 years of experience with classic greek food. It explains a lot. During our stay several tables were occupied by greek people and the greek language was in the air. Go if you interested in: Classic greek food Family-focused restaurant Greece Don’t go if you are looking for some fast serving options (at Santorini’s they are a little bit slow with service) and massive drinks and fun - it’s more private and friends&family place
