What a unique place

We stayed here over New Years Eve. A nice historic place with a lot of antiques. People were very kind and helpfull. Very good breakfast. A very nice area to visit and close to Utrecht. Bus station near by.

Charming, Peaceful, beautifully furnished

Our last night in Netherlands we splurged and spent a night at Logement Swaenevecht. What a treat. We had room 8 which overlooks the river. My grandson sat in the captains chair and imagined how it was years ago. IT is furnished beautifully and restored lovingly.

Romantic autheticism

A place from the past yet fits beautifully today on a waters edge. It’s a charming manor house with wonderful antiques and pictures set in an authentic environment. The rooms are large with period style furnishings with an all so comfortable bed. A hotel stay is also about the service experience and here while a B&B, it has the wonderful attentive and personal service of our hostess that’s unintrusive and genuine. The breakfast experience was an EXPERIENCE served and prepared with a good variety including eggs cooked your way framed by water views and greeted by the house chickens! A gem of a place midway between Amsterdam and Utrecht its a must stopover.

Very nice experience.

Very personal. Hospitality at a higher level and very friendly. Beautiful location and excellent for a weekend out with the family or your loved one. Decor of hotel is great. Lots of things to see and enjoy.
