Why can I? It isn’t even really expensive. Not even when you hear they got a star. The service from the hostess are great and the cook is definitely amazing. Maybe it is also the location, everything feels so perfect with each other. Your dinner is great in size and the look is amazing. It is a high culinary dinner for a great price. I’m blessed!

Last night we tried the Strand Lodge for dinner with my mother-in-law. She was curious about this restaurant and what type of food would be served. From the moment we arrived we had a lovely experience. Graciously greeted by the serving staff, we were guided to our table in a tastefully designed dining room. Spacious but cosy and the chairs were very comfortable. We chose the a la carte option and with each course were offered wine to compliment the flavors of our meal. The sommelier suggested wines with a bit of history and presented this in such a way that we all wanted wine!! (Unfortunately, I was the BOB) the wine completed the harmony of each course! None of us had eaten at a Star restaurant so the entire experience was new, but the Strand Lodge really presented an outstanding meal with friendly, professional staff. We complimented or waitress who stated that the menu was new and the staff as well, but they had a nice natural click amongst them. This click was indeed evident and the total experience was outstanding. I highly recommend a dinner at the Strand Lodge and will return here in the summer to be able to experience the location as well.

The restaurant is situated on a terrace overlooking the swimming pond. Besides an indoor restaurant, the terrace has an eating area with conventional tables & chairs as well as couches and low tables for more relaxed eating. We had a light lunch which was excellent. Service good. However, I asked for the bread with kroketten to be replaced by patat friet (french fries) and was advised that this was not possible & that I would have to pay extra for fries. I found this strange as in other restaurants had always been accommodated in this request. A lovely venue for families wishing to make use of the swimming area/beach.

We enjoyed a very good dinner here. The food is excellent, it may not be cheap, but therefore it is a Michelin restaurant and it is worth every euro. The service is superb, the atmosphere is very nice and the place itself, on the water of the Strandbad is just perfect.

Awesome 6 courses at the deck overseeing the swimming pond and the kids playing downstairs in the sand. After experiencing multiple star rated restaurants in the past this great food in a relaxed atmosphere was a great treat. Awesome afternoon!

it is the best 1* star restaurant i have ever been to. the atmosphere is comfy yet professional, the service relaxed yet attentive and the food is absolutely lovely!!!

The presentation, quality of food is excellent. I was a bit surprised to not to find too many french wines but I had a very nice time. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is really unique - it is situated in very nice countryside. During summer you can come to the "beach" of biotop, stay the whole day, relax and then get great food - michelin cuisine. I liked the menu of the day, every piece of food was excellent.
