Lunch was excellent. Very nice food very well displayed, nice atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, good price-quality. Easy parking across the street. Can recommend!

It is a restaurant with a rare quality - super service and also fantastic food. They have a great variety of meat and fish combined with a diverse range of wine. I would recommend this restaurant as the best in the area.

Had a lovely lunch on a Sunday.

We were with 4 people for lunch. Lovely lunch menu and we all had different dishes. Three of us chose dishes from the specials. We all enjoyed our food.

Hidden gem

Het Oude Raadhuis is a fabulous restaurant located in the old town hall of Eemnes. Lovely views over the fields and the river. A cosy terrace between ancient trees. Naomi and her team offer guests excellent service and make guests feel right at home. And then the food, absolutely delicious, surprising combinations and the presentation is super nice. I definitely recommend this place!

Good home cooking delights in the old town hall

Eemnes is a beautiful Dutch village with a rich history in its battle against the waters of the Zuyderzee. Since the building of the Afsluitdijk, floods are a distant memory, carved into a sign next to this restaurant. They have built terraces on both sides of the single main road which is the old part of Eemnes. This restaurant is open for lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals. I’d recommend both the lunches and the dinner. I hear the steaks are good. But so is the halibut and cod fillet which we tried. Good coffee at the end. They change the menu every couple of months to make use of seasonal ingredients. Have tried the chef’s special once and was not disappointed. Opens at 12, just in time for a late brunch. Dinner Menu doesn’t have vegetarian options, but maybe you can ask?

Best meal of the week!

We stopped at this smart restaurant on a cycling tour around Ijsselmeer on our first day. My ten year old son had the best burger of his life - which was great (although put later burgers into the shade), and my daughter had an amazing club sandwich - I forget what my wife and I ate - but it was a lovely lunch. Topped with a smart building, great outdoor seats and lovely service - much to recommend!
