Excellent lunch / service!

We stopped by on a recent, rainy Friday for lunch. Beleg van Oegstgeest is easy to find and you can also park closeby (central parking is about 100 meters). We got in around 12 and the place was packed already. There are tables for 2, 4 and you can also sit at the bar. Even though it was busy we were able to grab a table. Service is good and friendly. Drinks came out quickly (fresh OJ was really good) and when the order was in we only had to wait a little bit. They have nice small cups of soup; I had the traditional pea soup which was delicous. As sandwich I had the "Blei" which was traditional bread with avocado, lettuce, ham and a boiled egg. Good portion and delicious. This is really a nice place for dinner when you are in the area for business or visiting Oegstgeest for leisure. Keep up the good work!

Perfect Lunch

Perfect lunch location, food is fresh and very tasty. Please book a table around 12 lunch time is it very busy.

Great little place

Lovely lunchroom suitable for lunch and coffee visits. Lovely warm atmosphere with friendly staff and tasty dishes. They stock gluten free bread so fine for low gluten lunch

Lunch

We have been here a lot of times over the past few years and we always left after a great experience. The food is always well prepared and presented. Staff is nice and friendly. Recommend for the great food and ambiance.

Freshly made and imaginative sandwich options - very welcoming atmosphere

One of the best places for lunch in Oegstgeest - definitely book if you want to go with even a small group! The range of sandwiches is quite broad and freshly made, combined with a choice of salads, teas and coffees it makes for an excellent lunch venue or just for a quiet break. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere very welcoming.

Hidden gem tucked away

This place is marvellous. The food (breakfast, brunch/lunch) is unbelievably fresh and the bread (as it always seems to be in NL) outstanding. The staff are friendly and efficient. The prices are moderate in the extreme. A great place for brunch/lunch once you are shopped out in Kempenaerstraat in Oegstgeest. In the summer months the outside terrace is most pleasant.
